This spoiler recruitment guide contains unconcealed, full recruitment information for every character in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Each entry contains the name and portrait of the character, the location where their recruitment begins, and full details on any steps that need to be taken.

Characters are divided by story subchapters and are listed based on when they become available to recruit. Unlike the spoiler-free guide, this page does display characters that automatically join the player through the story.

First Mission

The Watch Captain's First Job

Kuroto	Altverden Village	Speak to him in the southwest area of the village and defeat three Wild Boars in Redthroat Ridge. Kills prior to speaking with him are counted.
Iugo	Eltisweiss	Speak to him in the bar located on a sidestreet of Eltisweiss's easternmost vertical street.
Mellore	Eltisweiss	Encounter her on Eltisweiss's central vertical street and aid her in defeating the Nerthus at Redthroat Ridge.
Yusuke	Fort Xialuke	Speak to him on the Grum County side of the fort to recruit.
Yume	Werne Village	After recruiting Mellore , speak to Yume's grandmother by the village entrance, and then find and recruit her at Redthroat Ridge.

Ormond	Abandoned Mine	Bring 3 Iron Ore to Ormond. He is located immediately to the south of the new shortcut by the ladder to the headquarters.
Hiro	Abandoned Mine	Speak to Hiro in his usual spot.
Galdorf	Abandoned Mine	Speak to Galdorf at the entrance to the mine and bring him the Palenight Mail, which can be found next to Ormond's spot in the mine. The armor cannot be equipped at the time of recruiting.
Falward	Altverden Village	Speak to Falward in the village meeting hall and hand over 15 Healing Herbs.
Frida	Werne Village	Speak to Frida at her stall in the south-west of the village.
Dr. Corque	Eltisweiss	Begin the beigoma scenario in the bottom left part of Eltisweiss. After defeating the spinadiers Taq in Altverden Village, Fender in Kyshiri Village, and Celera in Werne Village, return to Eltisweiss and talk to Dr. Corque in his laboratory. Note: Although Dr. Corque can technically be recruited any time these requirements are met, it may be difficult for a player to win the necessary beigoma battles with early game beigoma.

The Village of the Treefolk

Gieran	The Greatwood-East	Speak to Gieran in the forest. Defeat the Ancient Seed sub-boss and bring him the Rune of Conservation it drops.

The Proving Grounds

Kallathor	Treefolk Village	Joins automatically following plot events in the Proving Grounds.

Euchrisse, the Land of Water

Character	Location	How to Recruit
Chron	Headquarters	Speak to Chron at the entrance to the Headquarters.
Leon	Headquarters	Once the Headquarters is at Lv. 2 or above, speak to Leon at the western entrance.
Pieter	Werne Village	Speak to Pieter in the northwest farming plot of Werne Village.
Glen	Arenside	Speak to Glen in west Arenside and defeat him at a Card Battle.
Shixeen	Headquarters	Collect 120 individual cards and Shixeen will appear at Headquarters. Defeat her in a Card Battle to recruit her. This is technically possible with the second Card Shop upgrade, but would require getting 84 of the 88 unique cards in Extra Pack 1. It is easier to accomplish this later when more packs are available.
Squash	Treefolk Village	Speak to Squash beside the town's Trading Post. Bring him a Sparklestone. The item is dropped by Phantombirds and Red Wyverns in the Dappled Forest.
Pastole	Twinhorne East	Speak to Pastole next to the town's tool shop.
Mariette	Twinhorne East	Speak to Mariette and retreive her Mariette's Charm. It is obtained through a Treasure Chest gimmick in battle against a Rabbit Archwitch in the The Greatwood-South.
Hakugin	Daphan Village	Speak to Hakugin with Mio in the party east of the village entrance.
Nell	Hishahn	Speak to Nell, who is hidden behind some stalls at the north-west exit to the city.
Carrie	Hishahn	Encounter Carrie three times while crossing the city's bridges (northwest, northeast, southeast). Note: Although Carrie is not an automatic recruit, she is a mandatory one. The player cannot progress through Hishahn Old Town without her, meaning she can be not skipped on low recruit runs.
Riufan	Hishahn	Speak to Riufan in the north side when Nowa is level 32 or higher. Defeat Riufan in a one-on-one battle.
B'baba	Daphan Village	After visiting Hishahn for the first time, encounter Faye on the path north of the Trading House at Headquarters. Speak with B'baba in her abode in the northwest of the village.
Faye	Headquarters	After recruiting B'baba in Daphan Village, visit B'baba in the far eastern room at the Headquarters first floor. She will guide the player to Yusuke (Castle Rooftop), then Francesca (Castle 1F western-most room), and finally Yume (Castle 2F, outside the Great Hall). If these three characters are not recruited, Faye can not be recruited until they have been. After visiting Yume, Faye will join the party.
Huang	Hishahn	After receiving the Bamboo Rod from Huang in Arenside, speak to him near the Appraiser's Shop to the east. Speak to him again after catching a Wheel-Eye Bream. The fish can be caught at Fishing spot (Euchrisse) at any time, including before speaking to Huang in the city.
Kurtz	Hishahn	Speak to Kurtz outside the Smithy, then travel to the Treefolk Village and speak to the adult Treefolk by the Trading Post to receive the Grilled Tutuva Recipe. The recipe cannot be obtained until Kurtz is spoken to.
Celia	Headquarters	Progress Kurtz's Cooking Battle scenario through the first ten opponents (up to the battle with Trey). Find the Scroll of Heaven at the south-west bend in the Seaside Cavern. Continue the Cooking Battle scenario through the next six opponents. Celia will join after defeating the Masked Woman.
Lam	Daphan Village	Speak to Liufan in the Hero's Den at Headquarters then speak with the young woman to the west of the Rune Shop in Daphan Village.
Perrielle Grum	Hishahn	Joins automatically at the inn in Hishahn.
Janquis	Hishahn	Joins automatically at the inn in Hishahn.

Reveal Harlan's Schemes!

Code L	Daphan Village	Speak to Code L inside the Rune Shop and bring him a Rune of Currents. This rune is first available as a guaranteed drop by the Pagurian boss in Hishahn Old Town. The rune cannot be equipped to a character when interacting with Code L but can be used freely afterwards.

The Assassinated Emperor

New Forces

Milana	Headquarters	Speak to Milana at the Rune Shop inside the Trading House 2F once the Rune Shop has been upgraded to Level 2 (the ability to sell runeshards).
Enoe	Daphan Village	Speak with Enoe in the lower west side of the village once the Headquarters is at Level 2 or higher and the Mission Guild is established.
Fume	Dappled Forest	Speak with Fume east of the second save point in the forest once the Headquarters is at Level 2 or higher and the Mission Guild is established.
Larla	Eltisweiss	Speak with Larla at the inn once the Headquarters is at Level 2 or higher, the Mission Guild is established, and at least one "Epic Success" mission rating has been achieved.
Douglas	Eltisweiss	Speak with Douglas at the Smithy on the west side of the city. Mine 10x Iron Ore after he requests the materials. Iron Ore collected and deposited at Headquarters still counts towards the total.
Isha	Eltisweiss	Speak with Isha at the southeastern fountain in the city and complete her three tasks. The black cat can be found in the southwest corner of the city. After this, Isha will gift the Stamp Card and additional requests. The Cockatrice Egg is obtained through a Treasure Chest gimmick in battle against a Cockatrice (adult) on the Mountain Path Homeward. The Package for Arenside is delivered to the General Store in Arenside. Speak to Isha again and she will join the party.
Maureus	Mountain Path Homeward	Speak to Maureus at the north-western dead-end with a character with 250 MP or higher in the party. Falward, Francesca, and Mellore will reach this at level 33.
Paquia	Arenside	Speak to Paquia by the eastern bridge and bring her 5 Regular Eggs.
Mandie	Arenside	Mandie joins alongside Paquia.
Aire	Hishahn	Speak to Aire near the southwestern entrance and beat her in a race. Nowa must have 135 SPD or higher, which he gains at level 36.
Jorhan Gavulet	Hishahn	Speak with Jorhan outside the Trading Post in the city. There is an additional scene if Perrielle is in the party when speaking with him. If not, there will be a scene with the same information available in Perrielle's room at the Headquarters. The antique Jorhan seeks, the Yellow Rose Censer can be dropped as an Unknown Antique by Scarabs in the Eastern Desert.
Rody	Dabavin	Speak to Rody next to the General Store with a Pearl Pocket-Watch on hand. Hand over the watch and he will join the party. A guaranteed watch can be found through a Treasure Chest gimmick in a random battle in the Eastern Desert.
Prunella	Dabavin	Speak to Prunella in the Inn and agree to pay 100,000. She will return 50,000 and join the party.
Reyna	Dabavin	Speak to Reyna by the harbor and agree to fight Reyna. The player must reduce her HP by half within 3 turns (1,573 damage on Normal, 1,699 on Hard).

Across the Desert

Stadler	Impershi'arc	Speak to Stadler in the main square and defeat him in a Mock Battle.
Cabana	Impershi'arc	The Headquarters must be Level 2 or higher. Speak to Cabana just east of the Inn.
Quinn	Impershi'arc	Nowa must be Level 37 or higher. Speak with Quinn outside the Inn, then again at the harbor. Complete the Den of Dunes by defeating the boss there three times, attacking it at each sinkhole it appears in.

Shi'arcs of a Scale

Skyd	Impershi'arc	Skyd joins automatically following the Shi'arcraft Race.
Yuferius VII	Impershi'arc	Yuferius joins automatically following the Shi'arcraft Race.
Scarlet	Impershi'arc	Speak to Scarlet at the harbor and beat her in a one-on-one Shi'arcraft Race (finish under 01:12:00).

Inhuman Research

Reunion

Character	Location	How to Recruit
Durlan	Abandoned Mine	The Headquarters must be at least Level 3 and the "Mission: Mission Task 1" facility upgrade developed. Enter the mines via the Headquarters well and talk to Duran in the western dead end.
Syd	Hishahn	The Headquarters must be at least Level 3. Speak to Syd outside the Smithy and bring him 1 Mystic Lumber, 1 Iron Ore, and 1 Dire Beastbone. The items must be in the stowpack, meaning the player will have to avoid depositing them at Headquarters.
Clarke	Ardinale City	Talk to Clarke at the fountain south of Kesling Manor and show him The Star-Cross'd Lovers Script. The script can be purchased as a rare find (30% chance of appearing every 10 minutes) from the Ardinale Tool Shop.
Reid	Ardinale City	Dr. Corque must be recruited. In beigoma combat, defeat Venom (Daphan Village), Thudd (Arenside), Zeph (Treefolk Village), Reid (Headquarters), Flowe (Hishahn), Pyre (Impershi'arc), and finally, Crash (Ardinale City).
Mihlu	Headquarters	Mihlu joins automatically upon consulting on the current situation in the Great Hall.

To Norristar, the Western Nation

Character	Location	How to Recruit
Marisa	Headquarters	Marisa joins automatically upon consulting on the current situation in the Great Hall.
Garoo	Headquarters	Garoo joins automatically upon consulting on the current situation in the Great Hall.
Selbineth	Headquarters	The Headquarters must be at least Level 3 with 80 characters or more recruited. Complete the Build Mysterious Room plan. Speak to her in the new room in the basement and attempt the Hero Mode. Selbineth will join regardless of success.
Aleior	Headquarters	Speak to Marisa on the Headquarters first floor. Talk to the villager near the entrance of Altverden Village (west of the Rune Shop) with Marisa in the party. Go to the Abandoned Mine with Marisa and speak to Aleior in the north-east of the first area (Altverden-side).
CJ	Headquarters	Isha and Garoo must both be recruited. Speak to CJ at the Headquarters central exit then bring Isha and Garoo to the Grum County–North Runebarrows, east of Arenside. Traverse the dungeon and defeat Prometheus.
Dalton	Twinhorne East	The Headquarters must be at least Level 3 and the Mission Guild upgraded with Mission: Mission Task 1. Talk to Dalton outside the town's Inn. Sabine and Dalton will have additional dialogue if she is in the party.
Chandra	Headquarters	The Headquarters must be at least Level 2 and the Training Grounds established. A scene will begin when the player enters the Training Grounds. Bring Code L (as a Support unit) to the Eldroad and find and fight Chandra in the north-eastern dead-end.

Assault

Character	Location	How to Recruit
Goldsmid	Yarnaan	Speak to Goldsmid west of the floor changer on the second floor of the village. He will join if a character with at least 180 PWR is in the party. Garoo will meet the requirement by Level 40. If he is not recruited here, Goldsmid will also appear in Twinhorne West in subsequent events.
Alwe Arkathies Fawud	Yarnaan	Alwe joins automatically following discussions with the Elder in Yarnaan.
Nil	Yarnaan	Nil joins automatically following discussions with the Elder in Yarnaan.
Rohan	Twinhorne West	When the population of the Headquarters is over 5,000, speak to Rohan in the Twinhorne West Inn.
Hogan	Twinhorne West	Speak to Hogan at the end of the pier. The player now has to make make 50,000 profit in trading. Any earlier profit does not count towards this total. This challenge can be cheesed by buying up 50,000 worth of trade goods before speaking to Hogan, beginning the challenge from a base of 0, and then immediately selling everything to pass the threshold.

In the Land of Snow

The Revenant Army Returns

Yarnaan Falls

Foxiel	Athrabalt	Speak to Foxiel in the eastern square. Speak to Kurtz at Headquarters then return and speak to her once more with the Vegetable Milk Soup present in the inventory.
Galladur	Proving Grounds	Speak to Galladur outside the entrance to the room west of the corridor rotating device inside the Proving Grounds. Defeat the enemies that follow in one turn.
Aoi	Twinhorne East	Iugo must be in the party. Speak to Aoi outside the house to right of the Inn. Defeat Aoi in a one-on-one battle with Iugo and she will join the party.
Momo	Hishahn	Cross the southeast bridge (south of the Smithy) to encounter Momo. Agree to Momo's request and defeat the Kraken boss in the Seaside Cavern.
Euma Siarith	Athrabalt	Euma will join automatically upon returning to Athrabalt Castle.
Kassius	Athrabalt	Kassius will join automatically upon returning to Athrabalt Castle.

A Secret Mission

The Threat of the Empire

El Alicanto	Snowpeak Pass	This can only be completed after returning to Athrabalt Castle following plot events on Snowpeak Pass. Head to the northern ridge's northern-most dead-end. Defeat El Alicanto in a duel.

The General's Decision
