The League of Nations is a powerful alliance that balances against the Galdean Empire, which it borders. The League and the Empire are not always necessarily at odds. The two cooperate on a joint mission looking for an artifact said to amplify the power of rune-lenses. It is during this expedition that Nowa and Seign Kesling would first meet and become firm friends.
