Nil is a recruitable character in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. She is a mysterious girl discovered in The Greatwood Barrows by Leene and Marisa. Nil appears to be some form of artificial robot or Rune Golem girl but their past and true origins are shrouded in mystery.

History

Nil My name is Nil. I am most humbly pleased to make your acquaintance.

Nil was discovered by Leene and Marisa in The Greatwood Barrows. She had no memories from before meeting Leene and Marisa and no one knows what exactly she was doing in the Barrows. Apparently, there may be a connection to a battle with the Conclave of the Dawn that occurred there.

Brought to Yarnaan, the Grandwarden of the Guardians thought Nil may be some kind of Rune Golem, despite her myriad differences to most known Rune Golems. The Grandwarden believed the way she met the others may be a factor in her developing such a personality. Since then, she has been a companion of Marisa, often accompanying her on Guardian missions. She would join the Alliance when the Guardians decided to reach out to Norristar following Markus attack on Yarnaan.

Nil loved cleaning. As a member of the Alliance, she spent a lot of time with Hildi with the two talking about cleaning methods and the best way of housekeeping. Every so often, she would announce an impending big clean of the entire Headquarters, leaving every last surface spotless by the time she's done. She once claimed to be 100% waterproof while enjoying the Hot Spring but quickly started developing errors and had to be taken out.

Following the war, Nil officially joined the Guardians. She continues to search for her roots while fulfilling her duties.

B'baba's Divination

First Meeting
Nil first met Leene and Marisa in the Runebarrows. No one knows what she was doing there. Nil has no memories before entering the Barrows. It is clear that there was a battle with the Conclave of the Dawn. There may be a connection...

A Rune Golem?
The Grandwarden of the Guardians suspects that Nil may be some kind of Rune Golem, but Nil is very different from most Rune Golems, particularly in the fact that she can communicate with others. The Grandwarden believes the way she met the others may be a factor.

Loves to Clean
Nil loves cleaning. She spends a lot of time with Hildi, talking about cleaning methods and the best way of housekeeping. Every so often, she will announce an impending big clean of the entire town. At the end of it, every last surface will be spotless.
