Yusuke is a recruitable character in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. He is a self-proclaimed desperado, roaming the lands in search of big things.
History
|
From the Land of Sun in the East Reach, Yusuke was a leader of the outlaw desperado group Chivalrous Riders Under Shining Haloes in his youth. Although an outlaw group, Yusuke would defend the vulnerable and uphold his principles, marking him as something of an outlaw hero.
His bright pink coat was made by the gang's lieutenant, his childhood friend Ryoma. The matching set of coats they wore symbolized their friendship, with Yusuke refusing to ever remove his colors. As a desperado, Yusuke once fought Iugo one-on-one and was defeated handily. Afterwards, Iugo told him that relying on fists was simply barbarism. Yusuke took the advice to heart, if a little over-literally, and began fighting with only kicks rather than his fists from then on.
Yusuke would leave his group and eventually made his way to Grum County in pursuit of Iugo and his own dreams. He would end up being detained at
Fort Xialuke, his fiery appearance and temperament attracting suspicion from the guards who were on high-alert from reported bandit activity.
Nowa would convince the guards to release Yusuke into his custody and in gratitude, Yusuke would join the Eltisweiss Watch, believing the two would accomplish "big things" together.
As a former bronco-riding desperado, Yusuke was fond of horses. He named several that were kept at the Headquarters in his own unique style[1]. He was also friendly with
Faye, who reminded him of his own life, though he did not approve of her stealing[2].
Following the war, he would save a fallen horse, and declared himself a horse-back vigilante. Rumours of the infamous "delinquent on a savage horse" soon spread.

Trivia
- The writing on the back of Yusuke's jacket reads "天上天下唯我独尊", "Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one." These were the words supposedly recited by Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, on his birth, while raising his right arm.
