Hakugin is a recruitable character in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
History

A master ninja and cool, composed warrior. However, she has a sentimental side. Hakugin is an old friend and rival of Mio, and one of the few people Mio feels she can open up to.
While Mio is an idealist who pursues her aims unflinchingly, Hakugin is more of a realist. Each provides a healthy dose of perspective to the other. Hakugin's mind was blown the moment she tasted her very first baked custard.
Appearance
Hakugin's appearance was chosen from one of four Junko Kawano concept designs by a user poll through an official Google document poll on August 27, 2020. All four designs were revealed simultaneously on the August 26 Kickstarter update.
The winning design, "Design D: Veteran Kunonichi" was announced on the final day livestream on August 29. The final vote tally was as follows:
- Veteran Kunoichi - 3028 votes
- Cool Kunoichi - 1291 votes
- Fledgling Kunoichi - 1278 votes
- Battle-Loving Kunoichi - 938 votes

| Having been trained as a kunoichi from a young age, Hakugin never drops her guard. She knows that she's at her most defenseless asleep, so she never sleeps anywhere she could be seen.
How Hakugin sleeps is a mystery for the ages; even Mio has never seen her. |

| Hakugin's favorite food is baked flan, the first thing she had on the continent when she came after Mio. Obsessed with it, she tries the local flan, whenever she visits new places.
Taking notes on flavors, she seeks the ultimate flan, with Kurtz's currently in the lead. |

| Orphaned Hakugin was trained as a shinobi alongside other children. Lacking memories of her parents, she found happiness in kind masters and companions.
She discovered a worthy rival in Mio during her first mission, adding an extra layer of fulfillment to her life. |
