History

Mio
The road you walk is one, and yet its endpoints are myriad. You can still choose where the road takes you.

A swordswoman who is journeying to perfect the way of the blade. She has a stoic personality and rarely speaks, unless it's to challenge someone she views as a worthy opponent.

When she does open her mouth to say something, it's straight to the point and usually dripping with wisdom, so the people around her have taken to calling her "sensei." However, even the greatest of senseis do have the occasional brain fart...

B'baba's Divination

Easily Lost
Mio's brain just doesn't work when it comes to navigating. She can't read maps to save her life, so her path from the East Reach to the continent was a winding one.

She has a habit of using moving objects as landmarks - a problem when trying to retrace her steps.

Fighting Hakugin
Mio was training at a manor that Hakugin was assigned to infiltrate, and the two ended up in a fight.

They traded blow for blow for a long time, but in the end, it was Hakugin who retreated.

Her Family and the Arranged Marriage
Mio is from an eminent family of swordsmen, which her brother is set to inherit. Despite being arranged to marry another clan's scion, she holds no interest in it.

Hoping it will be forgotten during her journey, Mio wants to choose her own partner in due time.
