Marisa is one of the lead characters of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
History

Marisa is a young member of the Guardians, a clan that hallows and protects the forest. Since Marisa was very little, her family has instilled their ways and traditions in her. She has a warm, affable smile - except on the battlefield, where she wears the countenance of a warrior.
Although the Guardians live as one with the forest, they have respect for the outside world's culture and technology, and they are not against integrating the parts of it that make sense to them. Marisa is particularly foward-thinking in this regard, and loves new things - especially cute things.
Over the generations, the Guardians have developed a unique method of wielding the rune-lenses. For that reason, both the Galdean Empire and Nowa try to win them over to their camp.
Design
Marisa can often be seen with a small companion, Pooby.

| The Guardians protect the Runebarrows in a territory within an area around the Greatwood. Marisa is part of reconnaisance team of that area.
She patrols her territory, making sure that treasure hunters don't get in. |

| Marisa discovered Pooby lost in the Barrows and they bonded while she tried to rescue it.
To avoid the Grandwarden's suspicion, she cared for it in secret, but he told her, "The Runebarrows will make sure that you meet the right companion you need." |

| CJ and Marisa, with complementary personalities, share a strong bond. Despite it, Marisa is conflicted about CJ exploring the Barrows beyond her territory.
CJ, understanding Marisa's concerns, has pledged to refrain from entering any Barrows within her domain. |
