History

Chron
Now, on behalf of the Society, I’ll be opening a branch office right here in town. So! If you achieve, don’t forget to stop by and receive.

Chron held the prestigious position of chairman of the Achievement Society in his hometown. Chron's motivations for bestowing honors were that he saw such accolades as a chronicle of how the recipients lived their lives, bearing witness to the mark lives can leave. The Society also offered to help its recipients achieve further prosperity. If refused, the group would attempt to aid their chosen person discreetly.

Chron would meet Leon icon 01.png Leon, during a low point in the youth's life, and presented him with a medal, stating that "just being alive is an achievement." This act would given Leon a measure of hope and he has worn Chron's medal ever since. In the past, Chron was also a huge fan of Clarke icon 01.png Clarke's theater. Although he at first encouraged Clarke to return to show-business, he would respect the thespian's wishes and merely kept an eye on him.

During the Galdean Empire's invasion of the League of Nations, Chron would come across the IconMapHQ.pngHeadquarters and being impressed by its growth would award Nowa icon 01.png Nowa with a medal. He would then join the Alliance, opening a branch office of his society at the Headquarters. The medals he made were hand-crafted carefully, though he kept his methods a secret[1].

Near the end of the war, Chron would begin the task of compiling the titles he awards to the members of the Alliance in a book, which he tentatively titled "Eiyuden Chronicle."[2]

Following the end of the war, Chron would continue his duties, his voice echoing in city streets as he presented medals to all who earned them.

B'baba's Divination

Achievement Society Chair
Chron is the chairman of the Achievement Society, considered a prestigious position in his hometown. His duties are essentially to give medals for achievement and keep records relating to them.

He has been proudly "bearing witness to the marks lives leave".

Supporting Medal Recipients
The Achievement Society helps its medal recipients take advantage of their achievements to achieve more prosperity.

Often they give their support openly, but if the recipient refuses to accept it, they will support them discreetly, without the recipient's knowledge.

Respect for Clarke
Chron, big fan of Clarke's theater, viewed the vibrant performances as more valuable than any accolade.

Witnessing Clarke's struggles, Chron suggested his return to showbusiness, but ultimately chose to respect Clarke's wishes and just kept an eye on him.

  1. Headquarters dialogue - You want to know how I make my medals? Individually, with care and—Ahem! I'm afraid the rest is a confidential trade secret.
  2. Headquarters dialogue - So I too am at the climax of a great reckoning, you might say. It's still tentative, but I've been thinking of titling the book “Eiyuden Chronicle.”
