Dux Aldric is a character in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes who is first revealed, off-screen, at the end of Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, under the title of "Mighty Dux".
Dux Aldric is an ambitious political and military mastermind who commands a powerful faction of the Galdean Empire that is second only to the imperial family's. He seeks to unlock the true essence of the rune-lenses and create technology that can be used equally by all.
History

Following his failure to obtain the Primal Lens, 
Hurstwine reported the details of his mission to Dux Aldric under the title "the Mighty Dux". Seemingly Hurstwine's employer within the Galdean Empire, Dux Aldric was the one who sent Hurstwine to retrieve the Primal Lens and rebuked their subordinate for his failure in the matter.

Trivia
- 'Dux' is the Latin word for 'Leader' and is the origin of other titles such as 'Duke' or 'Doge'. In Roman times it was not a military rank, but could be used to refer to any person who commanded troops.
