The Proving Grounds
The Proving Grounds is a dungeon location in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Located in 
The Greatwood, it is a runebarrows of significance to the treefolk of Allraan. It would become a target of the Galdean Empire, who were hunting for Primal Lenses in the region.
Information
The Proving Grounds were a runebarrows located in The Greatwood near The Treefolk Village. The Rune of Proven Verdure, vital to the treefolk, was connected with these ruins. Treefolk came here to seek the blessing of the lens. The treefolk Dendriarch overcame these trials before setting down his eternal roots.
Hurstwine and Narungarde would steal the rune to bypass the trials of the Proving Ground and fled into the ruins, in the hopes of a finding a Primal Lens. The Proving Grounds were a complicated structure to navigate, with the layout of floors able to manipulated by the mechanisms within. Without the Rune of Proven Verdure, interacting with these elements were a requirement to find a path through to the barrows' depths. 
Nowa, 
Marisa, 
Kallathor, and 
Garoo would give chase, making their way through the barrows' myriad trials before confronting the thieves.
There turned out to be no Primal Lens at the end of the ruins but Kallathor would receive a special rune, the 
Rune of Blessing of Proven Verdure from the barrows for passing the trials of the Proving Grounds.
