Kenan
The Kingdom of Kenan is a nation mentioned in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. It is the home of the dragonewt people and one of the three major powers of the League of Nations.

Located west of 
Norristar, Kenan is a martial nation. Kenani culture demands military loyalty and prizes honor in battle. A dragonewt that loses face has both their horns cut off and is thereafter untouchable in society. Many dragonewts who meet this fate end their lives rather than live with the shame.
The realm of Kenan was founded around Solar Year 320. According to Kenani legend, the sun was stolen by a dragon and King Seuro and his warriors waged battle on it for 70 days. While the dragon was defeated, King Seuro himself perished. It said that Warrior Vaanz, a close friend of Seuro, returned with Seuro's sword and founded the kingdom of Kenan.
Kenan first appears in the texts of other nations around Solar Year 520, when King Varsus ascended to the throne. At that time, most dragonewts regarded other races as inferior and contemptible, but Varsus advised against this, encouraging diplomacy with other nations. Since this time, Kenan has seen internal conflict between those advocating peaceful coexistence with other nations and those demanding a proud isolation. The dragonewt city of Villenia, located near the border between Kenan and Norristar, was established by King Varsus in the Solar 530s to promote foreign relations.
In Solar Year 562, Kenan declared war on the Norristari, claiming that their land was originally Kenani, and that they were defiling it. The war ended in defeat for Kenan, and King Vilmoria was exiled with broken horns. Vilmoria's successor, Shubatziar, agreed to join the League of Nations in Solar Year 562. Subsequently, thanks to stronger economic ties with other nations, the number of isolationists gradually diminished though a significant minority remained. In Solar Year 590, Keenan left the League of Nations, but returned to the fold in Solar Year 619 due to the southward advance of the Galdean Empire.
At some point in the recent past, 
Sabine helped to quell a rebellion of some description in Kenan. At the time of Dux Aldric's war, trade between Kenan and Norristar was said to be booming. However, King Valmaurice was fostering closer ties with the Galdean Empire, unknown to everyone else. When the Galdean Empire began their advance on Athrabalt, Valmaurice would leak the Alliance's plans to block off 
Snowpeak Pass to the enemy and then, during the 
Battle of Athrabalt, Valmaurice would order his men to turn on their Norristari allies. Valmaurice felt Dux Aldric's star was on the rise and allied with him out of personal ambition.
Though a large contingent of Kenani forces would defect to the Alliance during the Last Battle at Headquarters, ending Kenan's official involvement, Valmaurice remained King of Kenan. Former Kenani general 
Vorrdice currently resides in Norristar while planning to overthrow the king.
