Blizzard Brothers
The Blizzard Brothers are a boss enemy in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. They are encountered at the Blizzard's Point area of Snowpeak. They are a mandatory boss fight for Main Quest 19: The Humongous Lens and can be fought by the player in the same location upon reaching Main Quest 29: After the Truth!.
Strategy
The Blizzard Brothers share a HP bar but both have different, yet potent, attacks. The left head will attack with its ice breath, creating a mass of ice projectiles that shoot across the screen. The right-most head has its own ice breath, a continuous frost breath that covers the entire ground surface in ice spikes. Getting hit by either can cause the Freeze status effect. The Blizzard Brothers can also summon additional enemies to attack the player. These enemies yield no items or EXP upon defeat.
Defeating the Blizzard Brothers for the first time earns the player a Rune Fragment, Giant Hunk of Ice, and unlocks the achievement 'The Lords of the Snowpeak'.
Subsequent Battles
Unlike the Hollow Plant and Lode Golem, which can be refought regularly after their first defeat, the Blizzard Brothers do not return until Main Quest 29: After the Truth!. When fought at this point the Blizzard Brothers gain an additional 5 levels, being fought at level 30.
On Hard Mode, the Blizzard Brothers will be fought at level 55. Defeating this version of the Blizzard Brothers unlocks the achievement 'Champion of the Snowpeak'.
