Sandfish (サンドフィッシュ, Sandofisshu) are a species of creature that appear in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Information
Sandfish swim the deserts around Impershi'arc and are a common target for fishermen. Sandfish measure about six meters long, making them the size of a small whale. As such, it takes several Shi'arc to catch it with long harpoons, usually from a sharkship.
The flesh underneath the hard scales is somewhat plain like a white fish, so it is usually eaten grilled with sauce. The fins are dried, then preserved. The dish is apparently a regional delicacy.
