The Search Begins is a Main Quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. It is the seventeenth such quest of the game and begins after clearing Main Quest 16: After the Mayor!.

Search the Runebarrows
Head east until you approach a Lens-Powered Device. Complete the puzzle to open a new Menhir that accesses the Crest location of Snowpeak. Continue east until reaching the Snow Wolf's Edge signpost. Defeat the Snow Wolf to complete the Quest and begin Main Quest 18: Mysterious Machinery
