Mysterious Machinery is a Main Quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. It is the eighteenth such quest of the game and begins after clearing Main Quest 17: The Search Begins.

Return to the Lens-Powered Device
Head west and use the signpost to travel to the Grand Hall of the Runebarrows. Move east from here to locate the Lens-Powered device. This will complete the quest and begin Main Quest 19: The Humongous Lens
