The Menhir are large stone monoliths found throughout Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, primarily in the Runebarrows.

History

When activated through the use of a rune-lens, a Menhir can teleport someone to another Menhir. Such Menhir allowed access to remote areas in the New Nevaeh area such as Snowpeak and the Lava Ruins. A Menhir in the Farm of the town allows access to the Runebarrows, which proved vital when the Quarry entrance was blocked. A non-functional Menhir, fallen into rubble, also exists in the Great Forest.

The interior of New Nevaeh's historical clock tower also contains a Menhir. This Menhir allows access to the deepest depths of the Runebarrows and was intentionally hidden after the fall of Old Nevaeh. Menhir were also how Hurstwine's cronies were able to access the Barrows without infiltrating New Nevaeh itself.
