Gakuto Kajiwara (梶原 岳人, Kajiwara Gakuto, born November 28, 1994) is a Japanese voice actor. He is the voice of Nowa in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

Production History

From childhood, Kajiwara attended music classes, learning to sing and play the piano. In his second year of high school, he transferred to a Japanese school in Singapore, where he formed a band with his classmates and became a guitarist.

Kajiwara has stated that during elementary school, he loved to watch Dragon Ball, which was re-broadcasting during that time, claiming that it has led him to become absorbed in manga and anime. Imitating Goku was what first interested him in voice acting. In high school, he liked Mitsuru Sakura, the main character of the TV anime "Guilty Crown," and admired Kaji Yuki's acting, and it was around that time that he became interested in voice acting as a profession.

After graduating from high school, he returned to Japan and enrolled in the film department of Nihon University College of Art and joined a voice actor training school at the end of his sophomore year in 2016 at the Haikyo Voice Actors Studio, and later became a member of the Tokyo Acting Co-op. In 2017, in one of his earliest roles, he landed a main character role as Asta in the popular anime series Black Clover.

Since then, despite being a rookie, Kajiwara was selected for leading roles in many productions, including the role of Nori Kamizuki in the anime "You Still Don't Know Gunma" in 2018, the role of Morira Hizokabe in the anime "Flames of Fire" in 2019, and the role of Hiiro Ryugasaki in the anime "Shadowverse" in 2020. On 8 March 2020, he won the Best New Actor Award at the 14th Seiyu Awards. On 31 August 2020, Kajiwara made his musical debut, signing with Avex Pictures. His debut single "A Walk" was released on November 25, 2020 and was used as the twelfth ending theme for Black Clover.

He was announced as being involved in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on September 16, 2022, during the 505 Games panel at the Tokyo Games Show. It was revealed that Kajiwara would voice Nowa, the game's protagonist.
