Barrow's Blessing

The Barrow's Blessing is the name given to the phenomenon that occurs in New Nevaeh as a result of the Runebarrows.

History

The Blessing began centuries ago when a sorcerer was performing experiments to create a man-made rune-lens. As a result of his experiments, after he was sealed away, every few decades a child is born in New Nevaeh with a raw lens inside their body. This results in the child having azure hair and the natural ability to use magic. However, it also impacts the child's lifespan, causing them to die before adulthood.

The current child is Isha whose father journeyed into the Runebarrows seeking to remove the Blessing.
