Avan is a young resident of New Nevaeh. Sometimes seen as a troublemaker, he also has a soft heart. Although he scared Priya's cat, Yum-Yum into the Great Forest, he makes amends by occasionally sharing a fish with the feline.
Avan's grandmother, Aradhya has mentioned her hopes that he would visit more, but when her homemade rice-cakes are on the menu, Avan won't stay away for too long.
