A Blade for Bertrand is a Shop Quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. It is available from the Bulletin Board in the Plaza after clearing Main Quest 20: A Life Worth Dying For and Shop Quest: Light as a Feather. Completing this quest will upgrade the Smithy.
Objective(s)
Find Bertrand
Talk to Tatara in Outlander Lane in front of his Smithy to begin this quest. He will mention that Bertrand asked him to repair an old sword. Speak with Bertrand at the Weapon Shop to the east.
Report to Tatara
Return to Tatara and he will say that his skills improved after working on the sword. Completing this quest will also upgrade the Smithy to Lv. 4.
